Logotype & webdesign for a portfolio. Creative work suited best the client’s personality, but had to remain discreet enough in comparison with the artist’s own illustrative style. Gold and silver are the main accents, but complementary colors are present throughout the sections of the site, thus infusing life in a background otherwise heavily influenced by the gloomy Prohibition Era. François strong feminine sense is symbolically hinted at through the suspenders.
Behind the scene, WordPress skills were acquired while making this website. I created post types dedicated to François’s job, to present his books or his next signing sessions. The website is responsive and make use of recent technologies, although it is still legible when the user isn’t too up-to-date. Despite it being retro, the graphics are resolutely future-proof with use of the svg file format (vector).
